Setting up your Pure Habitats product is simple and straightforward. Follow the steps below to ensure a safe, secure, and leak-free installation. Before you begin, please confirm that all components are included in your package.

Your package should include the following essential components:

  • Heavy-duty rubber plugs
  • 3-Way Male T-Adapter
  • Water supply hose
  • Mounting hardware
  • Installation accessories

Important Installation Tips

Do Not Overtighten

Always hand-tighten the water connections first. If needed, use a wrench to make a small additional turn until the connection is secure.

Avoid overtightening, especially at the bidet connection, as excessive force may damage the threads or fittings.

Ensure Rubber Washers Are Installed

Before connecting any plumbing fittings, make sure all rubber sealing washers are correctly positioned inside each threaded connection.

Properly installed washers help prevent leaks and ensure a secure seal.

Use Plumber's Thread Tape (If Required)

Where appropriate, apply plumber's PTFE (Teflon) thread tape to threaded connections to help achieve a reliable, leak-free seal.

Installation Steps

Step 1 – Preparation

  • Carefully unpack all components.
  • Check that every required part is included.
  • Turn OFF the main water supply before beginning installation.

Step 2 – Install the 3-Way T-Adapter

  • Locate the toilet's cold water inlet.
  • Confirm the rubber washer is properly seated inside the adapter.
  • Apply PTFE (Teflon) thread tape if required.
  • Connect the 3-Way Male T-Adapter to the water supply.
  • Tighten until secure without using excessive force.

Step 3 – Mount the Unit

  • Insert the supplied rubber plugs into the designated mounting points.
  • Position the unit correctly.
  • Secure the mounting hardware until the product is firmly in place.

Step 4 – Connect the Water Hose

  • Attach the supplied water hose between the T-Adapter and the bidet.
  • Ensure all rubber washers remain correctly positioned.
  • Tighten each connection securely while avoiding overtightening.

Step 5 – Test the Installation

  • Slowly turn the water supply back on.
  • Inspect all connections for leaks.
  • If necessary, gently tighten any leaking connection.
  • Run a short test cycle to confirm the product is operating correctly.
